Rent is one of my favorite movies. It was so sad when angel died. Any other musicals you like,on stage or on teh big screen?

I saw that movie. I love when Tom sings I'll Cover You at the funeral. It breaks my heart every time I hear it. That man can sing!
I love some of the old musicals. Have you ever seen Flower Drum Song? That's one of my favorites.

Loved Rent, saw it 3 times on stage, saw the movie in theater and now own it.
Moulin Rouge is amazing also. Wicked is great. Also like the music for The Last Five Years. The story is told from man's view and woman's view. Start of show is the end of the relationship for her, his is the beginning of the relationship. No longer on stage since the ex-wife of the writer sued for it being too close to their life. Soundtrack is available funny, sad, sweet.

Musicals are cool. Rent is the greatest movie ever, thank you for making me watch it! As you know, I was heartbroken when Angel died, and would so watch it again. However, I don't get out much, so I cannot really provide any other musicals I liked.

I saw "Rent" 3 times on Broadway and once on tour - the movie was okay, but nowhere near as exciting as the play.
Some of my favorite musicals are "Light in the Piazza," "Grey Gardens," "Wicked," and "Assassins" on stage.
In films, I thought "Chicago" and "Cabaret" were actually better than the stage plays
And I'm looking forward to the film version of "DreamGirls" this December - I loved it onstage.
