some people are jealous when others are happy and they aren't...and they feel some sick need to spoil it.
sometimes we see a friend is happy, but that person is totally wrong for them (i.e. they are abusive, or a drunk/druggie, liar, cheater, whatever) and they are trying to help. but, in that case, when the person just doesn't "see" that person is wrong, there's nothing you can do but let them learn for themselves.
and then, there are the bigots who just can't deal with seeing someone with someone that's "different" (whether they are gay, or different race, religion, etc).
those people need to live and let live. love is love! be happy for others who are happy! it's not your business to interfere.

Some people are just jealous and they are the ones to avoid. If you are happy, great. Peace.
