A floppy disc capacity is about 1.4 MByte. If you go to a file name, then right click and select characteristics (or properties), that will show you the size of the file. I hope you can someday get a DVD burner and use DVD+RW discs. Then you Have 4.7 GBytes and can use it over and over --- just like another hard drive.

it's up to the disk space not the file format.Anyway it's 1.4 mb for the floppy disk.
TIF format is somehow slow to open, and bmp is slow too. try to save your files as jpg images which will allow you to store more files on the floppy. if you care about about the quality, use tif or bmp.

Any file thats larger than about 1.5mb.
