Well We're mostly likely going to have it here at my house Which is pretty big and It does not really get cold down here in Florida so Having the party won't really affect anything.

Well first is figuring out your theme. Would you want a Christmas theme or just a baby theme. Once you have that then you can decide on cute invites. Depending on what time of the day you are giving it. If you are giving it around noon then plan to have more filling food choices like cassarole type dishes, salads, bread and if you are having it say around 2 in the afternoon then stick to simple things like appetizers, chips, dip, veggies. I personally like the cupcake idea. That way you don't have to cut and serve. Cute cupcakes to have around the Holidays and would be perfect for a baby shower would be devils food with pink or blue icing and crushed peppermint candy on top. They also have the colored candycanes too in pink and blue. Everyone serves themselves. You want to make it simple so most of your time can be focused around the Mom to be. You don't want to be in the kitchen the whole time. If you have the time you could serve up a hot punch or cider or hot chocolate. Otherwise keep it simple with punch and have water available to those diabetes and those on a diet. Don't overdo with the decorations if your home is already set up for the Holidays. You can do the whole design around the food with colorful tablecloth, napkins, plates, etc. A few balloons. Do a few fun games that get people laughing and working as a team and others that don't require too much thought. I know the older woman tend to get frustrated because their minds aren't as sharp. If you have Dollar type of store they are great for small gifts like candles, bath and body stuff, dish towels, a bunch of wooden spoons (who doesn't need wooden spoons). Have a gift for that person that answered the less amount of questions right. They never expect this and is a nice surprise. Have extras. I always like to have a llittle something to send the guests home with like a rememberance. Most of all have fun and don't wear yourself out. Preparation is the key

Baby showers and anyother type of partys are so fun to do.I cant wait to throw my sisters.Well have you thought of getting a special made cake that is in the shape of a baby? They are so cool and It may seem a little weird but they turn out really cute. You could have a dirty Santa baby shower and whoever your sis thinks has the best girft for her by the end of it gets a prise. So the stratagie is get the gift she will like the best or you loose.I hope you got a few Ideas and tell your sister i said congratulations!Have fun.

First off, don't invite more people than you can afford to entertain.

Start by figuring out where it will be held. It's a good idea to have it a place that's easy to get to since it will be in December and there could be snow and ice on the streets. Someone's house is a great place to have it because there will be a kitchen to prepare the food and all that.

For food, you want it to be simple. Soup and sandwhiches would be great since it would probably be chilly out in December. For refreshments, tea and hot chocolate would be good. For dessert, cupcakes are wonderful and would be easy to decorate in either pink or blue frosting and maybe some sprinkles.

For games, there are tons out there! Search "baby shower games" in a search engine and you'll find tons.

well you could first of get the decorations like pink or blue ballones whatever the gender of the baby is and some stremmers and baby shower stuff. You can get that all at a party store. You need to plan on knowing where your going to throw it.It's going to be cold so i suggest inside.and the games. At the baby shower we had we just had a game like these pacifier neclace whoever says baby loses there neclace and whoever hears them say it gets it.whoever has the most neclaces wins.Don't forget the invitations.Get prizes for the winner.
