i ask this because yesterday, my 5 month old daughter learned how to slide out of her Bebe Pod: she pushed herself with her feet to arch her back, leaned over her right side and fell on her side on the carpet! i was next to her and she didn't hurt herself (but she could have)
isn't this contraption suposed to be safe for babies up to 12 months of age?

you need to read the WHOLE question.... I WAS THERE! she didn't fall all the way, but even so, i think they should wright some kind of warning on the box, don't you think!?

I thin they are safe as long as an adult is present. My son has one but isn't interested in it right now. He's only 4 months but is trying to sit up. We have the Bebe pod and I even think it may say that once the baby can get out of it to stop using it. I would have to check to make sure though.

I dunno what the BEBE POD is but i've had the bumbo and I never had a problem with her "almost" falling over or whatever. But she didn't like it very much plus she has big thighs and kept getting stuck in it. Course I should have known better to buy it cause she was almost 10 pounds when she was born.

My child used a BUMBO and loved it. She did get to an age where she could raise her bottom up and it looked like she would be able to fall out. That's when we put it away.

They don't look safe (or comfortable) at all. They look like the baby could lean to the side and the whole thing would go tumbling.

As long as you were right there and kept her from getting hurt it is safe it just requires you to supervise her says so on the box.

They are meant to be used under the supervision of adults so why weren't you there to catch her when she fell over?
