I've just looked it up and it says that you should consult your doctor, so you should do that, with any medicine consult medical advice first when pregnant as some can really harm your baby.

Trimethoprim can cause baby's teeth to grow yellow & deformed, it may cause other birth defects too.
It's usually used to treat bladder infections - if you have symptoms such as burning when you pee, increased urinary frequency, blood in the urine or a fever you should see your doctor.
Your question is posted under makeup: maybe you're thinking of antibiotics to treat acne? Trimethoprim isn't really used for this.
Stick with topical treatments (that don't contain vitamin A), then speak to your doctor when you're no longer pregnant or breastfeeding. There is better medication (Roaccutane) for acne than antibiotics but this is dangerous to take in pregnancy.
All the best for your pregnancy. (Doctor, UK)

Trimethoprim is in the FDA pregnancy category C. This means that it is not known whether trimethoprim will harm an unborn baby. Do not take this medication without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant.

there is no easy way to tell your parents but you can make it easier. talk to a trusted adult maybe a school counselor and ask them to give you some info on how to tell your parents. because the sooner you tell them the sooner you can start getting the proper prenatal care for you and your baby. if you think your parents will over react then i would suggest having a trusted adult have a meeting with your parents and you all set down and discuss this and give you and your parents some info on how to deal and cope with this. i hope this helps wishing you the best of luck

The best thing to do is contact your OB/GYN and ask them. They can help you with this question. They can also give you the correct information. They also may suggest an alternative that is more pregnancy friendly.
