the autopsies are about to creep me out now. and some of the other things are almost over the top

It is--it helps to appeal to the ever-changing demographic...look at all of the people who say that they love it.
But I'm not going to lie...I love it too...though I have noticed thus far that is has gotten more edgy this season.

Besides trying to make more shows to keep the series going, they are trying to make it more realistic... if you don't like it then you don't have to watch it, but that's what real CSI's do..

That's what makes the show so good.
I especially liked Doc Robbins singing the cause of death to Grissom.

It so grosses me out and that is what I love about that show. This season has really been particularly gross.
