okay well im just curious last night i felt this little lump right above my left hip bone.. its not part of my hip because it moves if i pull the skin toward a side. I play basketball and dive but it isnt bruised and doesnt hurt what could it be?

let me say something the lump doesnt move lol i thought it did but at first my mom thought it was my bone but it doesnt do that on the other side like it said it isnt painful its just there and could it be swollen just no pain?

sounds like some sort of cist or arthritis . i am not to sure so see a doctor about it.

Don't ever ignore a lump of any kind. Get it checked out. To ease your mind, a cancerous lump is usually hard, and will not move when you feel it. Most likely it is a cyst or fatty deposit, but don't take my word for it--I'm not a health professional.

Not to scare you, but please have a doctor check this. Even a small lump can be cancer. You don't want to take the risk of it growing bigger and spreading. Have it seen about.
