I think your best bet would be your cable TV provider. They usually have Internet service nowadays. Or if you have access to the southern sky, a satellite provider could help you. There might be a broadband wireless option through your cell phone company, which is a very likely option, come to think of it. Check it out.

The only solution would be if you had a cable provider near you and they could put one in for you. Otherwise you would have to have a phone line installed first.

Is there WI-FI in your area? That is the best and you do not need a provider with it....you can also get phone service through it in some areas.

If you can't get cable, and there's no WiFi service, chances are, you need to get the phone connected. Yes, it's a big pain (when I was in a flat, BT had me on hold so long, that my phone ran out of credit!) but few alternatives exist (e.g. satellite connections need a phone uplink)

Internet providers work off phone lines. Get a phone line.

If you have a 3G phone such as a nokia N70 you can subscibe to mobile broadband such as t-mobiles "web n walk" £6.00 per month and I get half a meg. Not brilliant I admit but I could live with it if I had too.

telephone companies can run a line in just for your computer and you do not have to have telephone service, you would pay less money for this service...ask them about it..
you have two other options.
using a cable company...
or a satellite company..they do no need cable or telephone service..and they say satellite is faster too.
good luck

Do you have cable? If so your cable company can get you hooked up.

How did you get online to ask your question?
