I got the nickname Pinky my sophmore year of HS. I wore a lot of pink, however I got the nickname fro the golf team because I have very short pinky fingers and could not wrap them around a golf club, so they stuck out and everyone laughed.

I like my nickname better than my daughters however. They call her Jelly because her swim coach could not remember her name and yelled out, hey you, the girl that swims like Jelly. It stuck. Who knew. She loves it and now uses it exclusively at school and stores when asked her name. Talk about the looks I get for everyone thinking I named my child Jelly!

I got the nickname Squatty Body in 6th grade because I was only about 4'6". I'm now 41 and only 4'9". The name has stuck all these years. It's even my license plate on my van now!

Smiley, Sunshine and 'the antelope'
The first two I guess are obvious ahaha..
I got labeled the third name because I could jump over anything when being chased...think that was from water balloon wars.

Oy (you) because I refused to answer to the diminutive of my first name - later handy andy after a cleaner (product) of that name. I liked it and got so used to it that I have remained Andy to this day, even giving my son the first name Andrew.

Mine was 'DJ Daz' sometimes... cos of my initials starting DJ - from the kids who liked me OR 'Daz Automatic' .... the others it wasn't as flattering lol.
In college it got even better... I was known as 'Guffer' because I talked so much crap at times... that hasn't changed THAT much...lol.
These days the simple 'Dazza' feels quite amazingly normal...!

Petite (originated from French classes meaning small) 'cos we were two Helenas. I was the smaller one (short & small build) and the other was grand Helena. I hated it so say the least!!

nanners - It was given to me by my brother. When I was born he could not say my given name, and started calling me "nan", then as we got older he changed "nan" to "nanners", since we were in school at the same time, and it was the only thing he ever called me, and still does, everyone picked it up and kept it going.
