If you're in college, your smarter then your question. Do not give up. Be good, do good, and you will be rewarded. You can inspire someone else with challenges like yours. Study, have fun, excel. Maybe try to see a counselor and work through your guilt.

That's no reason to leave college.
You might have a hard time getting into Med School but it's not impossible.
Once you have obtained a bachelors degree, you might be wise to apply for a judicial discharge or pardon. If you have lived an exemplary life since your conviction then it's quite possible.
Hang in there, you're on the right road.

stay in school and get your degree!! you wont have any problem becoming a vet and even if you were to, knowledge is power. It will only help you get a better paying job down the road. Employers like to see that you were determined enough to go to school and finish what you started.

i have a nasty past.. I am now in recovery... but my way of thinking in my younger years and how they are now.. are way different... you can go about this 2 ways... you can pay a lawyer to have that chare sealed.. but if you got into any trouble it'll come up... or... keep your record the way it is.. and keep moving foward... don't give up on what you are fighting for... i know of many people that have felonies that are still very succesful... people are people... we all make mistakes... so no... don't give up on school... you can do anything if you have the true desire to ... best wishes!!! from a successful.. Stay in College and try to get as good of grades as you can....this should not preclude you from getting into vet school.
You are guaranteed to not get a good job/career if you quit college, also never try to hid this conviction if asked. That is much worse than disclosing it.
