Follow your heart. If you think you're ready, then you are. You shouldn't feel any pressure just because he came out...
If you like him, I'd advise you to confide in him and send some signal of reciprocation. But, it's really your call. =)

This sounds a little corny, but DHT says it pretty well:
"Listen to your heart
When he's calling for you
Listen to your heart
There's nothing else you can do..."

You can tell him if you wish.

But I advise this, If you tell him, He WILL have a bit more liking towards you, friendly or not. Its like finding a friend amongst all the pressure the society puts on you. If you feel that he should know for a btter friendship and understanding, by all means tell him now.

But if you dont know the PERSON very well, you keep your secret.!! And if He is trustful and you think that there wont be any triuoble tell him.

If it was me., I will think twice.

But I strongly suggest, You should come out into public,

I came across a sentance in a blog. "Harvey Milk was right – the only way we can gain acceptance in society is for people to know who we are"

goodluck.

Do what makes you feel comfortable. Tell him or don't it is your choice. However if you tell him you may have a new friend to go clubbing at the gay bars together. Someone to share your stories abotu love and men with. This can really help out as you go through life.

I think you should tell him if you value him as your friend. He obviously shares his secret to you. But on the other hand, that might be a indication that he likes you and he has other intentions. In any event, you can test water alittle bit and give him a hint that you are gay as well. But its all up to you, if you dont mind and the friendship will not complicate the situation, I dont see why not.

Yes. The first person I told that I was gay, came out to me first. I made it alot easier to tell other people later.

If you are sure your freind is telling you the truth then yes I think you should. It would make the both of you feel a little more secure (there's someone like "me" close by). You could also look out for each other then. Blessings my son.

If you really want to and are comfortable sharing that information, go for it.

If not then dont.

But odds are he is among the best people you will ever have to talk to about everything.

Most of my friends ended up coming out to me before I did to them. Unless you feel that they're of a gossipy sort and you can't really trust them, it might be good to have someone to talk to about stuff.
