I need to make up my own god/goddess, and explain what he/she does. I sooooooooooooooooooooooo need help.

How about the God of Homework, who does all your homework for you and gets you all As!!!!

Not very hard to do. We did this in 4th grade. Pick a household object (say the toothpick) write an origins story(myth) to go along with it (redwood tree struck by Zeus's lightning during a temper tantrum) and introduce a Deity(say the god-dess Bea-u the genderless yet grouchy) give the Deity some physical characteristics (short, balding with perfectly tanned skin, yet no toes), list the powers (able to cause stomach cramps, male baldness and the create the perfect weight loss sundae) and have them create said object. (the sundae's 100lb cherry uses the redwood splinter to sit perfectly on top.) And there you go. If you need a clestrial pair, make it the complete opposite of the one you just did.
If a story isn't what you need:
Why not just do a bio similar to the one used when you sign up for chat groups on line?

Everyone gets down on themselves at some time. Everyone feels badly sometimes about who they are, what they have or haven't done, relationships, etc. Your god/goddess is the god of Self-Esteem. When people have lost their jobs, if your boyfriend or girlfriend left you or you him; or if things aren't going well. The god of self -esteem appears at these moments. He or she arrives and gently reminds you of the best of "you", the best of who you are or can be. Maybe you are not working on something as hard as you could, or are not being as honest with people or perhaps you don't feel as powerful in the world as you could. It could be anything. The self-esteem god reminds you to accept yourself for who you are; to celebrate the wonderful things about you; and to remember that the very things that have helped you in life; may be at times the same things that provided challenges. Don't blame yourself, the god of self esteem says. Sit still with the goo and remember the good things you have done, even if they are small. Remember friendships from childhood. Remember good times you had. You can summons the self esteem god or goddess at any time, by being still and looking within at yourself, and as you are quiet, you will get in touch with the self inside that you like.

Look at your world, what is important to you? What are your favorite things to do? What do you need to do those things?
Ok, now make a god that allows humans to do those things, say you like to talk on your phone. The God "Verizoneius" Gave this magic stone to whoever, so that they could communicate over distances with friends...
something like that.

Just make up a person (mythical god) who oversees something you really love, like football or doing crossword puzzles. Then give them some powers over that activity. Use your imagination.
