If what you are saying is the truth, then file an appeal with the school board. Write essays about why you think it is an injustice. Explain why it is a ludicrous claim. Explain how it is stupid to take this action based on the hearsay of just one person.

If what you're saying is the truth, then file an appeal with the school board. The suspension will go on your record and even if you still have to take the week off until this gets resolved at least the suspension can be removed or at least clarified .

I suggest you have a heart to heart talk with you dad about this. It can carry some heavy consequences down the line.

Good luck!

Call a lawyer at a group that handles cases like that. Maybe your family lawyer can direct you. Other than that enjoy the time off. Call the principal and see if you can have your teachers send you home work assignments so you can keep up.

If you are innosent then there should be nothing to worry about.

The ACLU has a section that deals with student rights. They have been very helpful to some people. You are a victim of the current hysteria over violence in schools. Despite the fact that it is at a low level and has been declining for years. People get their names in the news talking about and it becomes a hot button issue for politicians. I agree with the idea that you should stand up for your right not to be convicted by hearsay.

Get an attorney; get a free legal counselor at the nearest law school; get help.

Terror has stricken the hearts of Americans, and there apparently is no longer such a thing as "Innocent until proven guilty".

Let's put it this way: The authorities at the airport can check you and your bags and your shoes all they want, but if they find nothing, they must let you board the plane.

The authorities at school have no evidence of any words coming from your mouth. They must not bar you from school!

Your struggle is one we will all face soon. Please fight it. We must maintain our freedom. Too bad we need to free ourselves from our own fears!

Why on earth are you guys all telling this person to get a lawyer? Hes a kid he cant hire a lawyer. I think you should talk to your parents tho cause this could cause you problems later on. For instance a college could decide they dont want you because of this.

even this, shall pass away. it could be very important to you at this moment, yet this moment just passed.
perhaps one day 20 years away you and everyone involved will laugh about that thing, if it is even worth remebering. And you will be suprised at how much we ourselves magnify bad situations only to realize later, they had no effect on anything.

Threaten to sue and bring it up to the local media b/c if you never said those things then you shouldn't get in trouble for it.
