Majority of voters in Ohio now say issues trump character. Do you think we will get better government by picking this way?

Character is always the primary reason. If people were to vote the issues they would have to change their affiliation to independent.

We know the above is not true but that's the voter ignorance these days. The silent voters simply agree or doesn't engage overtly because it's embarrassing or awkward. The ones that do are labeled right or left and then there's the candidate. They will pander to who ever is in front of them.

When you actually see issues trumping character (only election results will tell, not polls) then there will be a drastic change in the United States. There will also be a lot of unhappy people. They're the same kind of people that think we attacked ourselves on 9/11.
