★★ DELETE YOUR YAHOO! ACCOUNT ★★

◙ THERE IS NO WAY TO GET YOUR ACCOUNT BACK AFTER YOU HAVE DELETED IT. DON'T BOTHER CONTACTING YAHOO IT WON'T HELP.

◙ DELETE YOUR ENTIRE YAHOO & GEOCITIES ACCOUNT! This means your homepage, email account and all services you signed up for under your current Yahoo-id.

◙ TIP: By deleting this account you are only making it impossible to login to by you and other people. But it will still exist on their server until sometime in the future when they get around to deleting it. This has been known to take many years. Search Engines will still be able to find your homepage and images. All you can do is go to each search engine and have your link removed if they will let you. But there is no way to stop the search bots like Google and Altavista.

◙ WARNING!: Don't waste your time asking Yahoo to speed up the process of finally deleting your account off of their server. I deleted several accounts 6 years ago and I can still go to the homepages but I can't login. If you have something you want removed off of your homepages or in your email account you had better do it before you delete your account. there is no way to do this afterwards. Smart people delete all files in their homepage account and all emails from their email account before delting their account.

◙ See for yourself.

◙ Also anything you put on the web for more than 48 hours will also be archived by the WebArchive's WayBack Machine. This tool archives the first few pages and some of the images of EVERY web site. They have taken this so far as to archive their own web site. I checked it out one day. :)

◙ Read this great book. It will teach you many ways to get more out of Yahoo.
