Trying rebooting the machine. If that does not work, then
1) Grab a paper clip and straighten it out

2) Now , look at your CDROM's door. You should see a tiny hole. It's usually below the door.

3) Gently insert the paper clip into the hole

4) When the paper clip can go no further, press gentle and the door will open

It may be broken.

Straighten a paper clip. Push it through the hole you see in front of the drive. It will unlatch and work the gears that push the tray out. This is just to get the disc out.

instead of using a paperclip, just go to my computer and right click on the CD drive and hit eject. happened to me and i had to send my computer in to get fixed...
