Wow, I never thought the people on Yahoo answers were the sharpest tools in the shed, but I didn't realize just how stupid they were until I saw the answers to this question!

I personally don't really care. Why should I care? It doesn't affect me one way or the other.

Ok...last time I checked the ENTIRE point of marriage was falling in love with someone and declaring their love to one another for the rest of their lives. So no, your idea is ridiculous! They don't LOVE other people....they love EACH OTHER!

As far as it being a sin and marriage is between and man and a woman...blah blah blah. My husband and I didn't get married BEFORE GOD. We got married before our friends and family, and a ship captain aboard a boat in a CIVIL ceremony. We then received a piece of paper in the mail from the GOVERNMENT saying we were married, and I got my name changed LEGALLY through the GOVERNMENT to my married name. Now...what part of any of that involved a church?!? Yeah, that would be none.

Seperation of church and state....our country's founding fathers created that....where the heck did it go!?!? Did we forget!?!? I say let them marry who they love!!!

Problem solved? Nope - because the problem isn't gays getting married.

The problem is bigots who think that they should have the right to tell two people who love each other that they can't get married.

If we could figure out how to solve THAT problem, life would be ever so much better.

First and foremost it is not our place to judge anyone for who they love or anything else...There is only one that has the right to judge us and that is God himself....In my opinion it is wrong for a gay person to marry a straight person without being completely honest with them first..I think we should all be tolerant of one another's lifestyle choices.

What are you talking about? Not to each other? Who are they marrying then, themselves?
I know! Why don't we do a compromise in which we mind our own business and let people love who they want?

Gay is a sin!
Don't you think if God intended for someone to be Gay he would have made it where a man & man could have a child together and don't you think he would have wrote it in the bible that it was okay instead of saying the it was not okay! :
