I remember how I wished I was 16 so I could date boys, then when I turn 16 nobady wanted to date me.
I wanted to be 18 so I could get into the clubs but when I turned 18 I never wanted to go to them.
I wanted to be 21 so I could drink and gamble, now I am 24 and I have never gambled and I dont drink.
now I just want a car, a house and a husband. LOL

16 thats a such a long time ago I remember I used to go to the clubs in the Tourist area in Cyprus, and I used to go every year and one day I turned round a said this year is full of kids, then I realised that I'm 21 and everyone around me (apart from my mates) is 16. I also found myself saying "I remember when you were this high" 2 my little cousin who I last saw when she was 4 and now shes 14, thats when you know your getting old.

LOL!

I was a freshman in high school when the John Cougar song came out, "Jack & Diane". It talked about "....hold on to 16 as long as you can. Changes come along real soon, make us women & men."
I remember thinking that I couldn't wait til I turned 16.

That was 2 days ago.
Now, somehow, I'll turn 37 this Friday!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
How the h*%l did that happen??!!

It's called reminiscing. And yes, in later years I believe everyone does. My era was back in the 1950's and chatting with people who also came up through those days brings back fond memories. I remember the first pocket radio I bought when stationed in Japan, and Japanese went ape over our camera's and always wanted to buy them, now we purchase the best one's from them. I still would like to own a 1957 Chevrolet Baby Blue convertable. lol
