One good thing about it is that only women get it, as far as I know.

Not true... men can get anorexia too... in fact, cases of male anorexia are on the rise.

There are NO "pros" about anorexia... there is nothing good about the disease.

Cons would include decreased health, starvation, emotional distress, various health issues, and looking like a starvation victim.

How DARE you suggest that there are pros?

No, not only women get it...

Pros: You will fit into those size 6/8 jeans that your friend's daughter just got. (You know, the six-year-old?)

Cons: Need I make a list? You will be unhealthy, have yellow skin, bad breath, and you will look like a ribbed out freak. Enough to make me sick about anorexia! It's not good at all for you. DON'T DO IT!!!

That in fact is not true. Men also suffer from this horrible disease. It is just not as common. As a recovering anorexic, I can tell you that there is nothing good about this disease. I have been in recovery for 4 years now but I am still experiencing the consequences of my actions. In fact, recovering from anorexia is harder than kicking a crack habit, so say my many doctors. One girl out of 3 will die from the disease, one will relapse her whole life and the other will recover. There is nothing good about that either. There are no pro's of the disease but there are many, many cons. Believe me, I know and live with them every day!

Ok, the "best answer" is WRONG. If you're anorexic for a while (maybe 2 months) you'll lose the fat you want to, the problem is that you have to SLOWLY start eating again so you dont gain it all back. when you decide to be normal again, take a diet pill and eat 3 HEALTHY smaller meals a day. slowly work your body back into it's metabolism. the only con i can see is that your miserable because all you can think about is food

not true,,woman AND men can get it. It is not a disease you catch from anyone,,it is a eating disorder that people think they are always fat,,when in reality they are not. There is NO pro's to this,,only con's.. Very dangerous and you can die if not treated by a professional

There are NO pros. The cons, well you will kill yourself in a very slow painful way. You will completely ruin your health.

Men can get anorexia too.
I don't see any PROS to anorexia. Sure, you get thin for a while, but then you get sick and you die. Your body needs food.
if you want to diet, do it the safe way:
