As far as i know there is not a formal american football team. Your best bet would probably be to contact the International Student Society at Manchester Uni
You can find them at www.manchester.ac.uk. There may be some americans who get together to play it.
(I am a student at Manchester Uni and have lived in Manchester for several years without ever once encountering an american football team there.)

i doubt you will be able to find any serious american football teams in the UK. outside of america, i do not know of any other country who actively plays the game, other than small communities of american expats whose kids take up the sport on sundays. i've travelled a lot and lived in many countries. well, i suggest you can start one.
