And don't be afraid to tell me there is nothing i can do...that would be fine as long as i know there is nothing i can do. the reason i ask is i heard that some things make it worse. any and all help/answers will be greatly appretiated.

Congrats on the baby and losing so much weight.

Now, here's the bad news. You stretched your skin and fascia (the tough layer that holds all your guts in) by being pregnant. Since you're probably pretty young, it will spring back most of the way after the weight loss. But not all the way.

You can do abdominal exercises to strengthen the muscles, but you still might not get the belly you used to have.

The only sure way to get the flat abdomen back is to have an abdominoplasty, which is a pretty big operation. ("Tummy tuck" sounds so easy, but it's pretty involved and requires a few months of healing time afterward)

South Beach diet helps to get rid of belly fat......however, that area that you are talking about - yes I know it well. You can run daily and do abdominal exercises, but sometime that will NOT go away on it's own. Short of surgery, you can still wear a 2 piece bathing suit, with a high cut in the front. You will be able to get your upper abs in great shape....Of course, it also depends on your genetic make-up. GOOD LUCK!

I too gained ALOT of weight, and now..I'm back to my pre-prego weight..5' 6.5" @ 120 lbs, but still not happy with my not so tight tummy. I've asked my Dr. if there is any exercise I can do to get rid of it and she said short of a tummy tuck.. it's just loose skin. So unless your done having kids and can afford a tummy tuck.. it's there to stay!! I found when I went tanning in the summer.. it looked better than just my winter pale skin..lol Good luck!!

It sounds to me such as you're pregnant, I definitely have 2 babies and notably with my 2d I had a great sort of twinges and pains i think of that's all the way down to hormonal differences, ligaments and muscle tissues stretch etc. additionally the toddler can lie on nerves that may later reason soreness. I used to get era pains throughout my being pregnant every time I could desire to have been having a era (had I not been pregnant) attempt to not subject as stressing wont help. stable success x

OK this is one of the best exercises for this, I hope it helps you.

lay on your back both legs straight up in the air, you want your feet to be flat (bottom of feet toward ceiling)
now lift up slowly toward your toes. DO NOT bring toes to you. Keep them stationary, do at least 2 sets of 15 to start. this is working those very hard to reach lower ab muscles ( if you where to reverse this, you would in essenes be doing a stretch and touching your toes, standing up, ya know what I mean? I hope.

If it is in fact your muscles, the only thing you can to do fix that is SURGERY. A tummy tuck is the only remedey for that. I plan on having on in about 5 or 6 more years.

If it's what I think you are talking about, then sorry but you'll need lypo. It is loose skin, and that CAN NOT be tightened, it will just lay there! Ask your ob/gyn. I have that little pouch, and NO LUCK!
