your first ultrasound should've given you your due date. its more accurate than your last cycle anyway. go with that.

ttc is trying to conceive.

Oh man, don't even get me started on due dates. I got pregnant while I was living in NC. The doctors there told me that my due date was July 27th. Then with the first ultrasound, they told me the 7th. Then when I moved to Florida, they went with the 27th again because they said they didnt want to trust another ultrasound, but their ultrasound said the 7th as well...

My baby tried coming on the first (which would be fine if they kept the due date at the 7th), but the doctor was saying no because he wanted my due date to stay at the 27th...so he gave me pills to stop the contractions and put me on bed rest....the baby tried again. He kept making me wait and wait with the pills and staying in the hospital because he was saying the baby was only 36.5 weeks and he wont deliver before 38....I was so pissed.

Well, by the time HIS 38 week mark came around, my baby decided, hey, if you wont let me out, i will settle in here. And stayed for what seemed like forever until his 40 week mark came and he induced my labor.

So technically, I was 42 and a half weeks pregnant when I had my son.

I hate the stupid due dates.

Trust me, they will give you a completely different due date when you have your first ultrasound. It's ridiculous.

Your doctor is probably using a date that was calculated using ultrasound. Either way, three days is not that much difference. Your due date is only a guesstimate, as they say. Babies can be born two weeks on either side of the estimated due date. TTC means trying to conceive. Congratulations, it won't be long now!

Seriously, the due date is JUST AN ESTIMATE, a rough guess of approximately when you will deliver The vast majority of pregnancies (nearly all) do not deliver on their exact due date.

Some come a week or two early, some two weeks late.

The baby will come when its ready, so just hang in there, Mom. You are almost there. Plus, as they like to say, there is not one case in the history of human life of a woman staying pregnant forever. The baby will come before you know it, so get as much rest now as you can.

TTC is trying to concieve, confused me too. I would go with what the doctor says... he is the one that went to school, ya know? The internet doesn't take extra stuff into consideration. My due date changed 4 times by my 4 month. They go by your period, when you started to feel ick, ultrasound, pubis to fundus length and all sorts of stuff. It drove my hubby insane, now that I have had an U.S and am big enought to measure, they are pretty sure about my due date. Keep in mind though, babies are not always born on their exact due date. Good luck!

The due date that your doctor and the internet gives you is just an estimate. I know where you are coming from being confused I've been given like four different due dates. You are far enough along that you could go into labor at any time now. GOOD LUCK!

It looks like they must do an ultrasound. they could have the potential to verify that the toddler is okay, and examine each little thing out. My dr could not discover the pulse with the fetal doppler when I went in at 11 weeks. I had an ultrasound a week later and each little thing became in basic terms positive! i've got heard the fetal doppler may be sort of flakey till you're 15-18 weeks alongside.

I would go with what the DR says but listen to my OWN body, the baby will tell you when the time is right. Just be prepared, get off computer and get that bag packed(just teasing). But would be sure to have all the "To do" list done. Have you started "nesting" yet? That is when you feel you have to get things done and ready, that is usually a "sign" that you are getting close also. Good luck

Your due date is only an estimation.

Fri. 27 Oct 2006 is your due date only assuming you have a 28 day cycle

Ok let me tell you from experience due dates mean absolutely nothing!!!!!!! Baby decides when time is right unless you are late then doctor decides you could say you will deliver 2 weeks early or even 2 weeks late so just hang in there I induced my labor with castor oil and it worked for me.

TTC means trying to conceive

The internet due date is more accurate. Doctor's due dates are based on a 28 day cyle that ovulates on day 14.
