What makes the big bucks, what's a good job, etc.
Or better yet - what field are you in and what are some pros/cons?

Jobs in the healthcare are good ones.
Engineering
Contractors
Real Estate
Radiologist
Any of those are fields are good. I see a lot job opportunities in the engineering and healthcare career field.

Anything in the medical field the money is good but the work is quite difficult. Theatre would be good fun but actors are a dime a dozen. Engineering you have to know what you are doing Psychology is good but I would get bored listening to the problems of others all the time. Law Enforcement is too dangerous in my opinion. I would just follow my heart and let my purpose be directed by the now.

There are books in your local library that show the pay ranges for various jobs.
Medical jobs are very secure because most of them can not be shipped abroad and the baby boomers are getting older and need more services. Computer jobs pay well enough but many of them are at risk of leaving the country, so be careful. Engineering pays well to start but isn't always followed by huge raises.
Accounting is an easy but not exciting major that pays well and is stable.

Medical field has a lot of opportunity and with the population aging, it has a lot of security. You can get a good job without a lot of education. It gives you the advantage of living anywhere you want because they need people in all aspects all over the world.

How about wedding Photography. Big bucks. Yes it is hard work but the take home is great.
