A 1:25 scale means the same thing whether applied to a drawing, a model, or whatever.
This means that the drawing, in this case, is exactly 1/25 the size of the real object or scene. So, for example, assume you have a 1:25 scale drawing of a table which is 10 feet (120 inches) wide and 5 feet (60 inches) tall. The table in the drawing would be 4.8 inches wide and 2.4 inches tall. That is, 1/25 times 120 (4.8) inches by 1/25 times 60 (2.4) inches tall.
So for any object at 1:25 scale you would simply divide the dimensions by 25, and that would be the size of the drawing.
Conversely, if you are looking at a 1:25 scale drawing in which there is a object that is 4 inches wide and 3 inches high, the actual object would be 100 inches wide (4 x 25) and 75 inches high (3 x 25).
Of course, you can substitute any number for 25. A common scale, for example, is 1:32 for model cars, etc. The same thing applies as above, but with the substitution of "32" (or whatever number) for "25" in the above examples.
Hope that helps! Good luck!!

Hey Gerarado,
The 1 would be the fractional part of 25 times bigger.
If in reality it were 25 feet, you would have 1 foot. on the Scale. Hope this helps.

Yes this question is all messed up. If you are talking about 75 feet, and the scale is 1 every 25 feet, then the scale distance is 3. Obviously the question or the answer is messed up. The answer to THIS question is 3.
