I'm pretty sure "The Frighteners" is a pg13 movie. It's really different from other horror movies, has a lot of humor to it. It was really marketed wrong when it first came out, so no one went to see it, but it's a Peter Jackson movie with Michael J. Fox. Fox plays a guy who can see ghosts, makes a couple of ghost friends and has them help him pull exorcism scams on people. Naturally, he lands himself right in the middle of a murder mystery when people in his town start dying in an unknown, yet somehow eerily familiar fashion.
Like I said, not sure if it's pg13, but if not, The Ring is pretty good, although it seems like you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who hasn't seen it.

Nightmare Before Christmas
Corpse Bride

-Something from Tim Burton. I think majority of his are PG-13 but don't hold me to that! Because I believe Sleepy Hollow is R.

But just some options...

I am almost positive The Ring is only PG-13 because I remember think this is pretty freaky and it's not rated R.

i might want to signify different classic scary videos like Carrie, It, the Shinning, Poltergeist, Jaws, Gremlins, Psycho. through as we talk's criteria they're PG13 notwithstanding they develop into once rated R. maximum of those basically mess including your concepts rather of a number of blood and gore. i wish this helps.

thinking.......nope, not a single pg13 scary film i've seen they're all pg15 and up. The only one that, really isn't a scary film at ALL, is war of the worlds. are you sure it can't be over that age?
