Since the authorities don't know what happened why isn't the air traffic control system shut down?

Why is it that the media insists on toying with our emotions with these bogus and embellished stories and headlines..It also amazes me how the public is clinching on to the hopes of something tragic happening ..just look at all of the questions posted about this..
my heart go out to any victims that may have been involved but come on..I KNOW WE LIVE IN SCARY TIMES BUT LETS NOT OVER REACT!

So far...all indications it was an accident. The action of the plane prior to hitting the building seem to indicate the pilot was having problems controlling the plane...that perhaps he lost and engine.

It appears to be just error on the part of the pilot- that and weather- its so sad either way! I feel bad for those in New York...

NYC is a no fly zone...the weather today has been hazy & foggy. I would say it was pilot error, & pray that I was right.
Bush would proably go invade another country that had little to do with it.
