Look in a book, search "baby names" on line-remember it is something people will have to pronounce and the child will one day have to spell, and possibly defend...Children can be cruel-original is okay-weird is a whole different thing. When you read the prospective name-what picture/images/type of person does it bring to mind? Is it associated with any popular/celebrity type of person, would you be okay with that? Make sure you check the meaning...Who would want to name a child something that means red duck, or other craziness...Many names are considered "American", most that begin with Le, DE, Re...prefixes, and don't have any actual historical/genealogical or ethnic connections...

I've always loved the names Liv, Sydney, and Ellis for girls. For boys I like Liam, Maddox, and Oliver. I have a huge list of baby names that I love so feel free to contact me if you need any more ideas. Congrats on the little one and God bless.
