Absolutely not! There are a couple of really effective medicines as well as change in diet and excersize that can relieve the symptoms and ulcers.

If the doctors have tried everything else, then yes.

But only your physician can tell you this and if you are questioning it, then go get a 2nd opinion from a doctor, not from Y!A.

surgery should be your last resort. there is a diet that is helping a lot of people (me included). it is based on elimination of hard-to-digest carbs that will allow your gut to heal. check it out before you resort to surgery.

I wouldnt do my own colon surgery...checking with a gastroenterologist may be a good idea.
