I think out of all of the teams that have won the series, the Red Sox fans showed less class than anyone; they're passionate but some were just flat out arrogant. I think they're arrogant because they didn't win for several decades. When they finally did they kind of shoved it into peoples faces. They really didn't know how to win or take winning.

I was wearing a blue hat at a toll booth and some red sox fans were flipping me off saying Red Sox rule. I've seen it a lot. I saw another guy in a store with a Red Sox hat that was telling the clerk that anyone that didn't love the Red Sox was a ********!

I think teams and fans sometimes dont' know how to win when they didnt' for so long and the Red Sox fans proved that.

I did feel good for the older people that had waited so long. It was nice for them for sure.

OBVIOUSLY not all Red Sox fans are arrogant but there were more arrogant fans that I've ever seen from any World Series team in my lifetime.

It's funny how you dont' hear much from them anymore. The silence is deafening; and nice.

We are not arrogant. We are passionate and knowledgeable about baseball. Look at what we got to do for 86 years...read about everyone else and all of the stats. You will probably never find any stadium atmosphere like Fenway Park in baseball. It is easy to cheer for a winner just imagine what you would have to do with your allegiance with an 86 year drought. I feel just like the Cubs and White Sox fans I know exactly how they feel or felt in the past.

Talk about being arrogant.....Exocet 75 how dare you say ALL red sox fans are this way. I am not arrogant...I am a loyal fan that doesn't have to bad mouth other teams to look good. I love my red sox team and sure I'll be upset if we lose, but don't put us all in the same category.

I will answer your question with a parable. Three students were walking through an alley in Boston when they came upon the dead body of a naked woman. The student from Pittsburgh put his Pirates hat on the woman's right breast, the student from St. Louis put his Cardinal hat over her left breast and the student from New York put his Yankee hat over the woman's private parts. They then called 911. The first police officer on the scene came over and took notes, but mostly notes about the Yankee hat. Then the homicide detectives came along and took notes and pictures, but an inordinate amount of attention seemed to be paid to the Yankee hat and what it covered. Finally the CSU people came along and took pictures and samples, but many of the Yankee hat. Finally the students could suppress their curosity no longer and asked one of the CSU investigators what was so interesting about the Yankee hat. He answered, "It's the first one we have ever seen that was not on an asshole." Go Red Sox.

Arrogant is not as good word to describe us. We are passionate. We love to celebrate with our team when they win, and we feel obligated to take each loss personally. We have a long history of bad luck, and it was amazing to finally see them win one. But, if you are a yankees fan, yeah, we are a little arrogant....

Red Sux fans are no different than Yankees fans. They are very knowledgeable about baseball and they root for their home team. I don't think that makes any fan arrogant.

We are unfailingly loyal and involved with everything related to our team but we are also happy and grateful they won in 2004 cuz it happened in our lifetime. A good bok that summarizes our feelings is by Bill Simmons - Now I Can Die In Peace.

because the liberal left is their fan base.. the snotty smug, know it all types who you dislike immediately after you meet them. they have this silly little romance with the underdog and have a history of being bandwagon fans.i cant stand them either and you cannot trust anyone of them as your friend.... theyll be the one who rats on you in the office if you went out back to take a one hitter and the one who tells your true secrets to everyone that has an ear....blow them off....they preach diversity yet they cannot handle another difference of opinion without calling a person names...they hate government, military, power, the president, order, discipline, walmart, mcdonalds, etc... they love mom and pop stores and their 3 dollar loafs of bread, but they are now mamasan and papasan stores.....hey high prices for everybody.... yeahhhhh and beckett girl, dont talk unless i ask you too or until your boy gets his era under six....
