so in china you are only allowed to have one cild per couple. i know that there are ways to have more, like if you live on a farm and need labor, but wouldn't you think that the population would be getting cut in half instead of growing larger. two people have one kid and the population goes up. whats with this?

there are billions of chinese people. most dont have kids so when they do the population goes up. Say there are 100 chinese people in a city, 20 couples have 1 kid each, that makes 120 chinese people in a city assuming nobody has died.
