What is the right age for a baby to be off a bottle?

Our 13 month has been using her sippy cup for water since she could sit up (at 5 months).

She constantly trails around the sippy cup with her but she WILL NOT take cold milk from the sippy cup or the bottle.

She has been on whole milk for 6 weeks and has no problems taking it warm but refuses to take it unless it is warm.

She's probably accustomed to the warm milk becuz you warmed her formula correct?

I breastfed my daughter but when I introduced cereals to the other foods to whole milk after a year I kept everything at room temperature.....nothing too warm......
I would only heat it up for like 20 seconds.....

And I did that when I introduced the milk and after a few months she started to drink the milk cold......

It's all about transition.....you can't just giver her something cold right away........warm it up less and less......

she'll do it eventually.....

try these as well to get her to transisiton off the bottle....My daughter never took to the bottle or sippy cups....

My three year old will not drink cold milk to this day. My six year old never had a problem with cold milk, but I warm her sippy up every afternoon and night. I guess some kids just like warm milk.

She's definitely getting too old for the bottle. Just start taking away the bottles and if she won't drink something in the sippy cup then fine. She'll drink when she's thirsty no matter what kind of container it's in.

rules advise 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, and that could or would possibly not take place with us. My 11 a million/2 month previous does properly with some diverse sippies, yet they have a exceptionally quickly flow. If he's prepared to drink something mutually as he's sleepy they have a tendency to flow too quickly for him to cope with. additionally, he has a tendency to drool extra together with his sippies than his bottles, so we nevertheless supply him bottles extra as a convenience for us. i think of how long it takes relies upon on your infant. toddlers that take bottles to mattress frequently prefer longer to thoroughly swap to a sippy by way of fact it would not have a similar convenience point as a bottle. Others while they start to be delicate eating from a sippy are happy not having bottles anymore.

I took my childlren off the bottle at 12-13 months. My son was off of it sooner, b/c my children are only 12 months apart and I had some trouble getting my daughter off of it b/c she didn't understand why her brother got one and she didn't But, I started by only giving them a bottle before bed. Then, after a week or two, I just stopped completely. It was rough for a few nights, but well worth it!

Slowly let the milk cool. Give it to her the way she likes it one day and then the next day don't warm it as much. Keep going until it is cold. My nephew had the same problem and this is what they did for him and it worked great

I took both of my babies off the bottle at 1 year and 1 day. It was so much easier for my kids to forget about it whereas my sister had a bigger problem taking her child off at 2. They know more and they know where and what to do to get one.
