I agree that it is ridiculous, but when blacks were sold into slavery and raised on plantation they (mostly the plantation lords) were teaching their children that blacks were too feeble minded to learn to read and write and they made up a law against it because they knew that many of the blacks on their plantation were far more intelligent than their own children and themselves and were indeed quicker of mind, simply demonstrated by how they learned english when purchased from the slave ships. (These blacks were distinguished from the american born blacks that were still in slavery) Read or watch Roots for a better understanding of what it was like to be stolen from your native land and travel for months aboard a ship that housed over 100 slave at a time and then reach America only to be sold into slavery. What an ignorant time of North American history period this was.

Charles Darwin unfortunately started this ignorant theory back when people were easily influenced. And was it Thomas Jefferson that said we were the missing link or was that good ole Darwin as well? ICR. Either way, as outdated as the idea is the theory is still accepted by some people with base intentions.

I don't believe in evolution, but that's what the whole idea was stemmed from and after people began to realize that it was not on level with Christianity, they abandoned the idea. Others still accept it.

For the person who said that some black people's profiles resembles that of a monkey, we all look like humans, not matter out facial features. How would you like it if I compared your facial features to a rat's features or another animal? You said that you know it sounds strange? Then why would you say it?

By the way, there are several white people that I could say have the features of apes as well as the behavior.

no i can see how you might think they are, i know this sounds racists but i have noticed that many black peoples profiles are similar to apes, i know this sounds offensive but i'm not the only one who has noticed this, in the 40's i had an uncle who invited a friend from Ireland to visit him in NYC, his irish friend never saw a black person before, when he was in the taxi on his way to my uncles house, the taxi drove through a black neighborhood and my uncles friend was fascinated, he asked my uncle if they were some kind of ape like pets that we kept, no joke!

Definitely...you think they would have figured it out rather sooner though with that whole ability to talk and everything. Humans are definitely strange creatures.

They are animals, whites are animals. All humankind is a specie of animal. Why would anyone take offense to that?

Yes it is. Someone asked the other day about races who are less "hairy" than others. I said that probably they're more evolved. We still have a tail bone & body hair.......think about it.

Isn't it ridiculous that some people ask racial bashing questions, then laugh about it?

Those people back then, makes it real hard for me to believe we are the higher order of species. To believe that some people were that dumb...
