Hello 'hespitinmysoup',

I would go with the PS3, but it's too pricey to get now! I'm not a big fan of the Xbox so I would not go with the 360. I guess the Wii is a good next gen, but you never know what will happen. Due to all this conditions I'm just going to save my money and wait till next spring to see how they all turn out. This way I can be sure to get a good console and not return anything back. That depends. How much are you willing to play and what kind of games do you like?

The 360 is still highly overpriced and back up by Microsoft. A name we can all hate but trust greatly. My issue with this console is that all the games are for macho, dim-witted males. Most of their games are FPS and aimed toward a male audience. If that's what you like, go for it.

The PS3 is also overpriced(though cheaper than the 360) and backed up by Sony who's only great product is the Viao. For how much money you will pay, you will find PS's always have sub-par graphics and games that are either nothing special or available on other systems. I think buying a PS3 would not be wise, this is probably the worst of the three

Wii would probably be the best bet. Nintendo is a bit of an underdog here, but tried and true, Nintendo can produce. They are more inovative and interactive, cheaper with amazing quality. Nintendo dedicates ALL of its time and money to video games, unlike its competitors who just test the waters for everything to make money. Family friendly, great games, user friendly and unlike anything around. For the cost, value and game base, I would say Wii is the best buy.

But you don't have to listen to me, you can look up reviews online and see what 'experts' say. Do what you want, it's your money.

i hope i can get a 360. once the price goes down it will be almsot as much as the wii. the ps3 is too much. the 360 has great games great graphics (not that important though), and most of the ps3 price is blu ray which i would never use

I'd love a PS3, but $500-$600 is crazy. I'll probably get the Wii to tide me over until the PS3 is cheaper. Plus, I can't wait to download all my old favorites from NES, SNES, N64, and Sega! And Legend of Zelda : Twilight Princess looks like it will be great!

i probly get a ps3 when the price drops but if the x box 360 keeps putting cool games that look like games i'd play then i might get one but i wont be buying the wii cause theres probly wont be enough games on it for me and i dont think after working all day that i will have the energy play it.
