This is going to sound absurd. I'm afraid I killed somebody.
I suffer severe obsessive-compulsive disorder, I'm very disabled from it. I can't even go to school.

I've been delusioned into thinking I've killed people or tried to kill people since I was 12 (I'm 16 now). It's very scary, and I wish it would stop, but I can't convince myself I'm not guilty of murder.

This disease is clever (I hope it is!). One time I had this nightmare that I choked this kid to death somewhere, and last night I thought I had a "memory flash" which I'm hoping is a false memory, it probably is, that I had killed someone for real (back when I was 14 or 15). I can't remember what I was thinking about after this flash of memory, but my mind is telling me it wasn't good.

Can somebody please tell me I'm crazy? My god, this is tearing me apart, I don't know what to do. I can't trust my memory. Did I do something awful to block this out? I'm a good person, I can't be a killer?

My aunt had a similar problem. She'd have reaccuring dreams of killing someone and feel horribly guilty after, like she'd really done it.

I used to do something sort of like this too, except not as severe. I used to be convinced that I was a pedophile. I knew I wasn't, but I'd convince myself that I was the most evil/disgusting thing I could think of. It made me insane. I wouldn't touch anyone and couldn't go around children.

I also have OCD, anxiety, and severe depression.

You need to see a psychiatrist. Be as open with them as you are with us. They won't tell anybody, even your parents. You also need to get on medication. There is great stuff out there and you have to find the stuff that's right for you.

Well, I just wanted you to know that I feel you honey and you are a good person. Actually, you're probably better than most.

If you need someone to talk to you can e-mail me at randomseizures@yahoo.com

There is one thing to tell you I know you will immediately reject this but the best thing is G-d my friend had that exact same thing and it wasn't very good. He went to counseling and started reading the Bible and then he remembered what really happened. He was watching a movie and pictured himself as the killer. Maybe you watched a movie or something. Don't reject tthis info right away. Just pray and I hope that you feel better. Try reading a book with a good ending and think of something that makes you happy. To get your mind off of it.

I think you're pretty much answering your own question sometimes the mind can create images that seem so real that we think they are but obviously they aren't. This should be a wake up call to you if your disorder is so severe you should seek medical help immediately so you can start living your life instead of living in constant fear and paranoia.

Perhaps yahoo answers isn't the best source for advice and information on this sort of thing. Psychologists and doctors would probably be better.

Dear needs help. Haave you spoken to anyone about this or are you currently seeing someone about it? are you on medication? There is a good chance that you never killed someone and are just having delusions but please please seek help for your illness before you or someone else gets hurt. Best of luck! God bless.

your probably having these thoughts because of a grudge against someone. i think these r just thoughts not reality. you probably thought about it so much that you felt it was real. i dont thin u r crazy i just think u r just thinking this happened not remebering it.

i wouldn't ask this type of question on yahoo answers, you might get the wrong responses from people.
do your parents know you have this? they can get help for you, you need it desperately before you act on these hallucinations.
