nah. My breasts started leaking (the left one) when I was 22 weeks. I was finally induced at 37 1/2 weeks. I was 90% effaced and 1 cm dilated at 34 weeks. On the day I was induced I was 95% effaced and 1 1/2 cm dilated. I also started to have loose bowel movements around 35 weeks or so.

Every woman and her pregnancy is different. Some women progress quickly, others dont.

A woman I know who was pregnant at the same time as me, gave birth 2 weeks before me, walked around for 3 weeks 50% effaced and 4 cm dilated..It really varies from woman to woman

Good luck!

When (or even IF) your breasts leak has nothing to do with when labor will come. Actually, how dialted and effaced you are don't mean much either. You can be dilated 3-4 cm and 100% effaced for a week or more (I was) or you can be closed up tight as a bank vault and give birth in a few hours.

At 39 weeks, I'd expect labor is coming soon. I started leaking when I was about 7 months.

this doesn't mean that you will be giving birth sooner or later. My breasts started to leak at around 28 weeks. Your day is coming, just hang in there and congrats and good luck!

Possibly, but I started to leak colostrum at 25 weeks...so it doesn't necessarily mean that. As for the diarrhea pains, those are contractions. Hopefully you will be giving birth soon :)

Since you are 2 cen. and 50% efaced you are on your way! I don't know about your leaking they can be doing it because, you are almost there or just because, ppl are different and they could be too full.
Good luck and congrats!

well since you're 39 weeks i'm sure you'll be giving birth very soon, but leakage doesn't really mean anything cuz i am 34 weeks and already have it. according to the books, you can have breast leakage several weeks before labor.

definatly possible....youre due so just pay attention to your body, espically if this is your first child. generally a due date is give or take 2 weeks either way. with out actually having contractions, a good way to tell is how you feel. you should get like a burst of energy before you go in labor, you may feel a need to get ready, organize or clean. they call it "nesting"

Leaking breast does not mean the time is very close i know bummer you want it out.

Focus more on your Preterm contractions.

It means you are near, but might not be today. Drink lots of water just in case. Best wishes for a smooth delivery!
