if the tigers have their title hopes in rogers hands then there in trouble. their punch and judy hitters will not get no rings.. sean casey? craig monroe? you got to be kidding me...they werent in the yankees class.. when randy johnson is your third game starter and jaret wright your fourth.. i knew we were in trouble... the tigers werent the best team, they struck out more than every team in base ball, had the second fewest walks, lost 12 of their last 17 and lost the division and home field advantage. they had two pitchers who threw career games and faced a team with a depleted staff. that call at third in the third game was weak and cost them the game. things will never fall in place for one team so easily again.. folks they aint that good.. the twins and the a's are better too.

I beg to differ, you ingnorant fool. The Tigers can fall back on Rogers because he pitched a magnificent game against the Yankees. Also, The Twins are not better because the Tigers won the season series and the Twins got swept in the ALDS. As for Oakland, The Tigers and A's are probably evenly matched teams, Though the Tigers just beat Zito, the A's best pitcher. Don't get mad because the Tigers beat the Yankees, the Yankees suck anyway.

Detroit not that good? What are u talking about man as much as I would like Mets to win, Detroit better team. Kenny Rogers used to be my favorite Ranger of all time even after he pushed the camera guy but now that he's in Detroit i kind of forgot about him, he should be fine especially in Oakland where he always killed the A's back when he was with the Rangers he had like a 14-5 record there I don't remember the exact numbers. Well im hoping the mets win so I don't have to see former Rangers like Kenny, Pudge, or D'Angelo Jimenez win the world series. Go Mets!!!!!

Well, I hate to admit this as a Yankees Fan, but the Tigers played better and deserved to win. I don't know if Kenny Rodgers performance was a fluke, but he did a great job against us. It has been suggested that since he has been playing in cooler weather that he has held up better the second half of the season. Remember that when the Yankees pasted him in the past, he was in Texas where it gets much hotter in the summer.

We shall see what happens, they were good enough to beat the Yankees, why not the A's?

Wow, what a bitter, whining Yankee fan. One would think a yanks fan would have more class. Rogers pitched a clutch performance last week and looks like he has shaken off past ghosts. Every series has one or two bad calls, its who capitalizes on them. And the last team to drop 13 of their last 17 games and win it all?/ The Yankees.... Tigers over the Mets in six
