Terrorist like New York City and Manhattan because it is the center of the world's financial district. It is also because New York City has such an open culture (porn, gays, etc...) that the Arabs view it as debauchery and therefore target it to promote their sick agenda.

Because the terrorists want maximum media coverage and ALL of our major media is headquartered there. Also because New York is, for better or worse, the "symbol" of America (what with all the people and tall buildings and all that good stuff)

But today's crash doesn't seem to be a terrorist attack. It was apparently a small airplane (possibly a Cessna) which hit an apartment building. According to MSNBC, the fire is out already.

It's the most populous part of the USA. More population = more targets. On top of that, it's the premier financial capitol of the FREE World. They hate FREE. FREE means that women have rights.
