why on earth would you want Jake Plummer benched? He's the best chance for Denver "this" year. Cutler may be good in the future, but if you bring him in this season you might as well kiss the playoffs good bye. I for one think Plummer is more than capable of leading them to the Super Bowl. You can bring Cutler in and you'll see the same results as you're seeing in Tennessee and Arizona with their 1st round drafted QBs......agree or disagree? Go Broncos! -- way to make all those people that picked Baltimore last week lose their weekly office pools. Seemed like everyone was on the Raven's bandwagon.

40+ year Denver fan and I agree. While Plummer isn't flashy or pretty at times, he gives us ulcers and causes us to swear mightly at times he is the best chance the Broncos have to win this year. And it is very hard to argue against his winning percentage since he has become the starter (something like 34-14). Cutler looks like a good draft pick and his time will come but not this year or even next year. Barring an injury to Plummer I think Cutler is being groomed to take over the reins probably in his 3rd year. That would be Plummers 12th in the NFL and Denver better have his replacement ready to roll at that point. I think they will.

Jake Plummer is not a good QB; he never has been; the only reason he didn't throw many interceptions last year is that the Broncos ran most of the time and had an extremely conservative passing game. In the Playoffs he was exposed again as a bad QB that never wins a big game.

Cutler cant' do any worse than Plummer so whats the harm;

Saying that your going to see the same results as in Tennessee and Arizona shows very poor knowledge. Tennessee is one of the worst teams in football.

Matt Leinart did great his first ever start against a tough KC defense, so I dont' know what your talking about there. He threw for 2 TD's and Denver couldnt' even score a TD as a team so I think your wrong big time. In his first start Leinart was 22-35 for 253, 2 TD's and 1 INT; and that's behind the worst offensive line in football.

Plummers line against the Chiefs? 16-30 for 173 yds., 0 TD'S and 1 INT.

How can you say that Leinart starting for Arizona is a failure but yet you act amazed the people want Plummer benched when he's avg. 168 yards passing a game?

Again, your knowledge is really bad; do some research before you post; then again, your a Broncos fan so I understand the lack of knowledge.

I agree with you. Jake got us to the AFC Championship game last year and he is more than capable of doing at least that well again. Our defense is much better and the addition of Javon Walker was great. With Mike Shanahan we will always have a chance. Jay Cutler starts next year though. Jake will end up with Oakland. I hate to say that, but Al Davis will do it just to spite the Broncos. As far as the Baltimore game, I knew we would win as soon as Michael (anyone got a line) Irvin picked the Ravens. That guy is an idiot. He is ignorant. How anyone who played as great as he did know so little about the game amazes me.

i think Denver is a extra perfect team than the two the Jets or Chiefs. in spite of if, Shanahan's selection to bench Plummer became a disaster. The Seattle loss could be traced to this. in spite of if, the main substantial situation with the team became the disintegration of the protection. it's time to replace the pinnacle coach.
