Bill Gates.

You have to have some kind of unique skill, talent or knowledge ( and tons of determination) to be able to be so successful w/o a degree. Everyone's competing for the same money and chances are, those with degrees will be chosen before those without them. With a degree, you're guaranteed to have something to fall back on.

Also, it about more than a big house and a nice car, because that stuff can be taken away just as quickly as it was acquired (job loss, divorce, natural disaster, whatever.) It's about being happy and satisfied with whatever you do, regardless of how much money you're making.

Mr. Bill Gates - Harvard dropout

It is possible to acheive great success without college but it is much, much tougher.

Not really. A community college graduate is better then not going to college at all.

Adam Carolla always talks about attending junior college (which he thinks is worse than not attending college at all).
