Yes I was tired more with the twins than with single preg,I also got larger quicker,go figure huh,and my appetite was less as I got heavier with the twins than before. I had more swelling in my feet and hands than with the single too. I had them in early winter which was total opposite than a early Summer with single. I could feel the twins move around more than the single also. Maybe it was due to being aware more of my body with them than the first birth. I also had "morning sickness" more with the twins in the later part of pregnancy than I did in the beginning of it which was totally different than with the single.

I dont think so. I had morning sickness until 3 months but that is pretty common in a singleton pregnancy. I did gain weight a little quicker (but that can happen in a singleton pregnancy as well) I didnt find out it was twins until my first ultrasound at 18 1/2 weeks

Some women have reported exaggerated symptoms of pregnancy (extreme morning sickness etc) But not everyones pregnancy is the same and extreme morning sickness, showing earlier etc can happen in a singleton pregnancy as well.

The only difference was at around 5 months I popped..I was huge. Usually women with one baby start to enjoy their pregnancy. Mine was miserable (not every twin pregnancy is though) I am 5"4 and weighed about 125lbs before getting pregnant so when the belly started to get huge I could hardly walk.

Preeclampsia, Edema, Pregnancy induced hypertension, high blood pressure etc are all more common in a multiple pregnancy. Premature labor is also a huge concern.

If you suspect twins, talk with your doctor and try to schedule an ultrasound, that is the only thing that is 100%

I had morning sickness from about 4 weeks until I had the twins, whereas with my singleton, I had it from about 8-12 weeks.

I also had a lot of constipation with the twins pg and problems sleeping. Oh, and I spotted from 7-12 weeks with the twins.

I had twin girls and I can not speak to that because my twins were the only babies I have had.

I can tell you though that I did rest alot. And, I drank between 32 to 64 oz of water a day.

I did not do a lamaze class per my doctor. She did not want me sitting on the floor.

I felt as normal as a pregnancy should feel I guess. My babies moved around, as much as they could with me being 5'2" and 120 lbs before pregnancy and 138 at deliver.

Hope this has helped you some.

I haven't, but the symptoms are supposed to be more intense. Like you'll be more nauseous, tired, and hormonal. Also, you may start to show earlier. To find out ifyou have twin, you can get an ultrasound around 7 or 8 weeks. Good luck, I hope you don't have twins as one of my friends did and (as you can imagine) it's MORE than double the work of raising one baby -- which is quite a handful in and of itself!

I had twins 14 years ago and I am pregnant again now. I was very fortunate with the pregnancies.... I had no complications with the twins and they were born at 40 weeks perfectly healthy.

I had twins and I believe that your more self-conscious knowing that you are carrying more than one so you think you need to nourish your body more than usual don't try to over do it. I felt pretty good when I had my twins a boy and a girl, 17 yrs ago. I was nervous but I did it!
Best wishes and good luck!

currently pregnant with identical twins and most days i feel not even pregnant. none of my symptoms are exaggerated at all. i do however feel lots of low pressure but these are my first babies, so i have nothing to really compare it to. i have a high tolerance for nausea and just being uncomfortable, so what wouldnt bother me, may bother the next. but i can tell you, i had morning sickness probably 5-6 days and nothing more. i do get sick if i dont eat though. i have to eat like every 2 hours or so or my stomach feels like its being eaten alive..lol and i get pretty sick. i think that's with any pregnancy though.

I've heard that the symptoms are more severe since you're having multiples!! Since you're having twins, your symptoms will double

I have twins, a single, and triplets with quads on the way. I just know, you have more or less morning sickness, and way more headaches, backaches, moodswings. A single its way less complicated. With multies your easier to get preeclampsia, and an abnormal paps within 4 months. heck, i havent had a normal pap in about 4 years! ;-)
