it blows my mind too, but often times family and friends will tell someone that they sound better than they actually do... you hear it enough you start to believe it.

I don't know. It's so funny some times. I love the look on the Judges faces sometimes. I can't wait for that show to come back on. I think it comes back in January. I was really upset when Carrie Underwood beat Bo Bice out. Now I love her CD.

Just because they say they are good singers doesn't mean they believe they are good singers. These people are just goofing off/making a prank and some are doing it so well they end up on TV.

It all started from chilhood.
Other than the fact that most were probably dropped on their head, I'm sure they were raised by a family who proclaimed "you can be anything you want to be, don't let anyone stop you" and well, they took that to heart.

Plus, they're tone-deaf, obviously. I LOVE to sing and sing all the time BUT I have the good sense to know I don't sing very good...lol
