I did not see this morning's press conference. I must guess that the press conference was the place he advised a "war" to answer the current crisis. It is correct that this is an extremely dangerous matter. The writer is not correct however that North Korea can "blow this whole country up." Is "this country" the United States? Experts are not even sure that Korea has a single workable missile to deliver even one nuclear warhead to the contiguous 48 states of the United States.
But the situation regarding a nuclear North Korea is extremely serious. The debate over how to address this danger is not lessened by melodramatic and absurd assertions that some new entrant into the nuclear club can now wreak such destruction. The issues are about how to stop the obvious proliferation of nuclear weapons. I fully agree that war is quite undesirable!!!!!!!! But we can't just tell the U.S. and the U.N. to just go home and eat a peanut butter sandwich and have some hot chocolate! The threats posed by the very real and very contemporary proliferation of WMD are EXTREMELY serious. Let us responsibly debate these issues by sharing facts, not by melodramatic pronouncements.

I see a lot of news about the plane crash, but nothing about declairing war against North Korea. Or are you saying Pres Bush caused the plane crash to distract the US citizens so he can get Congress to authorize a war on North Korea? I don't think he's the flippin idiot.

I think you need to watch or read a bit more carefully he is saying the complete opposite. He does not want to take action but if push comes to shove we will push back, this time we will have the backing of the majority of the UN. Looki if the French are angry over this you know it bad. The North Korea missals now can only reach California. Even if NK is nucular they are years away from mounting it to a missal that could reach the US. Regardless who is in the white house someone is going to have to deal with the maniac leader in NK.
