Well, I am honestly not totally sure whats the best way. From my personal experience, however, I can definitely tell you what NOT to do:
1. go against your gut feeling and obey peer pressure instead.
2. go over to the person you like, and say (really fast):
"EVER SINCE I SAW YOU LAST YEAR I'VE BEEN TOTALLY OBSESSED WITH YOU AND I LOVE YOU BYE!"
3. run away.
4. cry
Ok, well, don't do that. I did.
On a nicer note...
It depends on the person. If the person is really shy, you have to say something, because they never will.
If the person is outgoing, kind of imply.....if there smart enough, they'll do something about it
if you don't even know the person, or have barely talked to them, you should probably get to know them a little bit first.
As far as i know, this should probably work.....

Just come straight out with it and tell them how you feel. Don't use any of those cheesy pick up lines I have heard some people using. It's a waste of time and sounds so retarded. Just tell the person how you feel about them and ask them out for sometime! And always be honest with them!!

well if you really like this person then you ust come out with it and dont be shy beacuse you are not going to get any where so just come out with it good luck
