Sunshine:
Don't worry or stress about it! It's jealosy... everyone gets jealous at some point inthier lives. You are right in saying that some get jealous when seeing that other people have things better than them, but it isn't that wrong. A child with divorsed parents might be jealous of a friend at school whose parent's are still together, and do things as a family. You boyfriend might get jealous when you run into an old flame from highschool, while you two are shopping for groceries.

It's typical for people to think this way. We really can't escape it, it's just our human nature.
Here is my question to you.... Why would YOU be jealous of someone else? It's not worth it. Why do you hurt, as you have discribed? You are too good to beat up on yourself like that. Please don't feel that you aren't as lucky as others. who knows.. They may be richer, but maybe they didn't have good, supportive friends, like you do. It all depends on how much of that grean little monster callled envy, that we let out in public, or even just within our homes. We are all created equal. No one is better than you. If you are hispanic, I am no better than you because I am white, If I am black, you are no better than me because you might be asian, you see?
You just need to see your OWN luck.. You are successful. Look inside of yourself. You will find it. Everyone will. You are beautiful! You may not look lilke a model, and you might not have straight white teeth, but that isn't what makes us friends. We are who we are because of the inside. Do you help the elderly with the door at the store? Maybe someone drops an apple, while in the food store, and it rolls to your feet. Do you pick it up? Then you have a good heart. You don't simply watch them saunter on over to where the apple has landed, and stoop to pick it up. Are you a parent? If so, you are successfull, loving and beautiful. You provide for your children. You, yourself, Are just as successfull, nice, and likeable as you make yourself be. Life is what you make it to be.

Sunshine, look in the mirror. Are you being a sunshine when you wake up in the morning? Are you greeting each day with a good attitude, or noticing that the neighbor lady has a hott partner? Look inside yourself. You will find true beauty only within.

Remember that you are the way that you are for a reason. You posted this question for the same reason I answered it. It is all for reason.

Glad to hear your question. While writing this, you made me really think about things. Bless your heart. See? You are successfull! You helped ME!

No ones perfect and its only natural to be jealous of others. Yes I admit I can be jealous when someone has a better life than me i.e. more wealth and success. We feel this way because we live in an urban environment where we want to out do each other so that we feel happier with more money. We shouldn't always feel jealous but we cant always help it in this materialistic world we live in.

I feel just like you do all the time. I always wish things are different, and I was much better at everything I do. But I am trying not letting that feeling control me. I think many people feel the same. As long as it is not letting you too down or controlling you, you don't worry about it. It's possible to cope with it.

Jealousy, though normal, is a destructive force. What you need to do is analyze WHY you are really feeling that way. Maybe it's only envious. I know that you might think that they are only words for the same thing, but no, one is much darker than the other.

Jealousy will grind and wear you down, building up negative feelings, whereas being envious many times will stimulate you into actions to correct it.

Try showing yourself that you are who you are, and you are good and unique. If you need to, seek ways to achieve what is making you envious.

Okay, here's honesty. No, I am not "people" jealous, and I don't like to be around or hang out with people who "are." Just be who you are, and don't worry if someone knows something you don't, or "has" something you don't, "whatever" it is. Look at it this way. Whatever some one else knows that you didn't know? You just became educated about it, and "now" you know. okay? There are things "you" know that others don't, and you have things others don't. But that doesnt make them any less of a person. Right? Think about it and relax. Okay?

I am not a jealous person B.U.T. i hate jealous people.

Jealous people = Haters.
It is the worst kind of friends one can have. I believe every human being has the rights to achieve to their fullest potentials in their short life. If my friends are doing good i am happy. If they fall i'll givem a hand. Don't want to see one prevail they rather see one fail. when one is doing better they're not happy, when one is doing worst they don't offer any help and just steps on. always drags others down because they can't handle their jealousy. they don't even remember the times when they going thru bullshits who was there for them. I really really hate jealous people. lucky i've kicked them outta my life and kept those that are " true friends".

Jealous people can y'all please suck my diggity ?

Everybody gets jealous trust me so dont beat yourself up over that. The important thing to do is to monitor your thoughts and to think things through. Even sit down and write out why you think youre jealous, it really helps to do this.
