with that card, it will only work on laptops.... unless you can find a desktop with a port for that which i highly doubt! you can get a wirless card for a desktop for about $35 at best buy..... fits in your pci slot

It uses a Type II PC Card slot which are found in notebooks. There are some manufacturers who make adapters that will allow to have a pc card slot on a desktop.

Yes u can.
Only thing is you have to see the card type,
a) PCIMCIA card (or)
b)PCI card
c)USB
Here PCIMCIA cards are used for only laptops(In PCs :Only when your PC got PCMCIA card reader. Most of the Desktop PCs dont have them)
PCI cards are for Desktop PCs.
USB cards then u can use them on any.
