its all on how you apply the shadow. dark colors go on the outside crease of the lid and light colors go on the rest of it. then starting from the middle place black eye liner to the end of the eye. do the same thing on the bottem of the eye. then slowley apply black mascara. the kind that gives fat lashes. TRY THIS! IT REALLY WORKS! Apply a lighter shade of shadow to your eyelid and up to your brow. Then with a darker shade of eyeshadow apply it in the crease of the eye... use your finger and blend. Don't apply eyeliner to the eyelid. Apply eyeliner to the bottom and mascara even on the bottom lashes... be careful though not to create clumps... nothing looks worse then clumps of mascara on your eye lashes. Use an eye shadow pencil and slightly line the bottom of your eye (right on the eye liner). A little glitter mixed in with the eye shadow stick looks good too.
