My roommate and I think we have a 'friendly' ghost at home. One sunday, we were having breakfast and all of a sudden, we started to hear this noise in the kitchen (we were both scared by then). I got up and checked and the blender was 'ON'. We hadn't used it that morning and we wondered if a 'spirit' did it...? I've heard that they 'manifest' in electrical appliances...what do you think?

Several experiences.
1. I grew up in a house with ghosts. So lots of stuff always happened.
2. I guess Im a bit psychic or something cuz I always see and hear things, only to find out that yes someone died there or something. It's just kinda second nature to me and I don't really pay attention to it, it's just something that's kinda there.

The weirdest thing was when my husband and I went to a restaurant, and he had NEVER shown any signs of picking up on spirits or anything like that. Well he said to me, "man i feel weird, like someone is behind me, a man, hes confused and lost"

I was like hmm thats weird, I went outside for a cigarette, whie out there a man came out (turns out he was the restaurant owner) he asked how our meal was and sorry if things were a little "off " that night, but hs best friend and the head chef had died the previous night in a motercycle crash on his way home from the restaurant and everyone was still in terrible shock. he then told me that Paul was very well liked by everyone and this was gonna be a hard night to get thru.

Now, my husband was still inside at the table, never had gotten up from the table, no one went to the table when I was outside, i could see him the whole time from the patio where I stood.

I went in sat down, leaned into my husband and said, "this spirit that's behind you, is it still there? Is it male or female"

My husband responded yeah hes still here and very confused and it's a man.

I asked my husband, "can you tell what his name is?"

With out any hesitation, almost even before the sentence was outta my mouth my husband anwered "Paul"

I started to cry, and explained to my husband what i had just learned outside on the patio. it was weird,

sorry that was so long

C'mon! No way. Don't believe in ghosts, never will. If you think you might have a ghost, answer this... what does it look like? Do you think it was Is it wearing clothes? If yes, what type of clothes and how/why would a spirit take clothes? Was it the clothes it died in or can it take any clothes with it? If this is a ghost that only 'lives' in electrical appliances, what makes it a ghost and not an electrical bug?

Yes I believe in ghosts. I lived in 2 places that were inhabited by ghosts. The first place was my home for a long time. The ghost was a menace who gradually became a member of the family. The second house I moved into had a shady past. The realtor wouldn't tell us what happened, but finally she said that a child had been killed there. It was a playful little sprite. He did all sorts of awful things, worst off being turning the stove and oven on when we weren't home.

I wouldn't recommend basing anything off of one experience. Give it time and you will learn if you do have a guest or not.

I don't know if I really believe, but I have had a ghost experience. The most common experience is the type I have had. When a close friend died, he came back to visit me. It was a dream but not a dream. He was like the last time I saw him in person before he died. He said goodbye. It was very surreal. I had received a letter from him earlier in the day and then I heard his helicopter was missing in the afternoon.

i found my husband dead in bed, the following night, my son on one settee me on the other, both of us asleep.. we were woken up with the stereo on full blast playing lee's favorite band,, never done it before and never done it since. Also when i checked his email, [was cable television, didn't have computer then,] it said this user email no longer exists. i thought maybe i had mistyped, my sister tried, still no luck, next day tried again. and there it was, i like to think that this was lee letting me know that he was still around. so yes i agree with what you mean about electric being a means of being able to communicate

My uncle passed away, we were roommates and best friends (we were only 2 years apart). Anyways, he used to do things to just get on my nerves, and one of them was rolling the pool balls on the table one by one to hit the other balls. The week after he died, I was in the bed and I could hear the pool balls hitting each other. I looked and there was no one there. I laid back down, and it happened again. He also used to sit on my bed and talk to me. At night sometimes, I could feel my bed go down like someone is sitting on it. I just moved away from the house, and I dont feel him in my new one.

i def had ghosts in my old house...me and my roomate were getting ready for work one morning...she told me to turn the radio off before i went downstairs...she took 2 steps, and it turned off...when we looked, it was switched to off....one night i woke up to my dresser drawers slamming open one by one....another night i was lying awake in bed(old house), it sounded like one of my roomates was pacing the hallway...my door opened(no one was there),the footsteps came into my room...shut the door, and walked across my room....it was terrifying in the beginning, but i got used to it....the house was old, on the property used to be a detention school for little boys, where heinous things happened....my roomate actually saw one of the ghosts, which was a little boy....when she would come home at night, the head of her teddy bear would be turned all the way around, or it would be thrown in the corner behind her bed...i could probably go on for an hour, but i will stop here...
