I had my car stolen once. Number 1 is the monetary effect. I may raise your insurance, you may have to rent a car, or if the police locate it, you may have to pay to have it towed home (I did).
Number 2 is a time issue. If you have to rely on somebody else for rides in the short term, it may affect your schedule or daily routine.
Number 3 is personally. You may develop fears over whether an area is safe to park or go to in general.
