Any other cool nostalgic memories of Candlestick?

I don't recall any bleachers in right field. I remember the family pavillion in the old football seats in right field. I remember bleachers in left field, but I do not recall a name for them. I only went to about 100 games or so at "The 'stick." I have three "Croix de Candlestick" to prove a few mighty cold nights.

Any cool memories?
Dave Dravecky's comeback... Moonshots by Dave Parker of the Pirates and Reds... Seeing Will Clark hit his first grand slam in the same game that ended up being Mike Schmidt's last... Ernie Riles hitting the Giants' 10,000th HR... Barry's first home game as a Giant, he and (later Giants playoff Hero) Benito Santiago hit HRs (Santiago's HR was their FIRST road HR in Marlins history.) That day Tony Bennett crooned "I Left my Heart in San Francisco" and members of the Greatful Dead sang the national anthem... The crowd chanting "oo-ree-bay"... Joe Morgan knocking out the Dodgers.

How's that for a couple?

I do have a HUGE reminder of Game three of the 1989 World Series. I took a picture minutes before the 'quake hit. Months afterward, I blew that picture up to a poster and have gotten it signed by almost EVERYONE on both teams (including Managers, Coaches, General Managers, even the broadcasters.) I even got the three guys from the ABC broadcast team to sign it.

How's that for nostalgia?

I worked player security at Candlestick Park in 89 and there was no name for the right field bleachers other than the ''cheap seats'' but every stadium has those.

I am not sure this is what you are looking for, but after reading all of my books on stadiums in reference to Candlestick the only thing I can find is Knot hole.

I don't remember any nickname for the right field bleacher. I do remember the cold and the wind!!! How all the hotdog wrappers would blow around in circle. Who was the pitcher that got blown off the mound!
